Covid-19 Policy

-!- Updated 17 June, 2021 -!-

We have always prioritized the safety of our customers, and in these uncertain times, this is no different. That’s why we are enforcing best practices for safety in the midst of COVID-19.

As you know, safety recommendations — including those for our our customers and guides — can and will likely change in accordance to the World Health Organization recommendations and local and national regulations.  You can count on us to keep up-to-date with the latest recommendations by the municipal and federal government and we will share this information with you here on our website.

What to expect from us:

Unfortunately, there is no telling when things will be completely “back to normal”. Rest assured that we’re doing our best to keep you safe and healthy while providing an excellent tour experience in Paris.

As of June 2021, all of our guides are fully vaccinated against Covid19.  In the very small chance that a guide has symptoms then tests positive, they will be immediately prohibited from giving tours.  Every guest that took a tour with the guide in the last 14 days will be contacted by email and encouraged to test or self isolate if possible to reduce the spread of the virus.

As of 17 June, 2021, local and national regulations no longer require the use of face masks outdoors, except in specific circumstances.  As a result of the regulation change, our guides will no longer be using masks on this tour.  This will allow our guides to be more comfortable and to provide the best and most engaging experience possible.  Our guides are strongly encouraged to use hand sanitizer at the start and throughout the tour and limit physical contact (hand shakes, etc) with the guests.

One of the benefits of booking a tour with Paris By Foot is the limited group size of 10 or less, which is even more important in these uncertain times.  The small group size will allow the best possible tour experience while maintaining the possibility of social distancing.

We understand the difficulties of planning future travel and we are committed to making it as risk free and stress free as possible.  If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, you can receive a full refund up to 72 hours in advance of the tour.  Within 72 hours of the tour, you can receive a voucher (transferable) for a tour at any future date.  Of course, we remain flexible with any requests for rescheduling.

What we expect from you:

Remaining safe and healthy takes effort from everyone, including all guests on the tours.  By reserving a tour with Paris By Foot, you agree to follow our health and safety protocol.  Any noncooperation will result in refusal to continue the tour and a refund will not be provided.

As of 17 June, 2021, local and national regulations no longer require the use of face masks outdoors, except in specific circumstances.  As a result of the regulation change, our guests are no longer required to wear masks on tours.  However, masks are required any time you go inside of a shop, building, attraction, church, or outdoor market. The mask must cover your mouth and nose at all times for maximum efficacy. If you do not have a mask, you will not be permitted to enter certain spots on tours.

We kindly ask all guests that are showing symptoms to NOT attend the tour.  We will work with you to reschedule, provide a voucher, or process a refund.

Thank you for your support!

Throughout France, Europe, and the rest of the world, many people and industries are struggling financially.  With the many travel restrictions throughout the world, tourism is one of the hardest hit sectors.  Paris By Foot and all of our guides would like to sincerely thank you for your support during this difficult time and we look forward to giving you the best tour experience that Paris has to offer!
